What is a pitch- 2 kinds: story idea or intro to service

1:30 Story idea pitch: print magazines, large websites. Mini article. Always send to a person. Google “website name + write for us”

Pitching guidelines: past issues, magazine’s voice, suggest new angle, be specific, wait at least 3 weeks.

5:24 Subject line. Intriguing and in voice of publication. 

The hook: name of editor, hook – get interested in story

Craft pitch: look at ads for what interested in, 3-4 sentences long.
